1922 Washington Women Golfers Organize

The Washington State Women's Golf Association (WSWGA) was founded in August 1922 at Grays Harbor Country Club to promote competitive amateur golf for women. Initiated by Mrs. "Frank" Patterson, the organization was created to hold a statewide championship, with 46 golfers competing in the inaugural event.
